음악의 3요소로 멜로디, 화성 그리고 리듬이 있습니다. 1학기때는 기타와 함께 화성을 알아봤다면, 이번에는 젬베와 함께 리듬을 알아볼 것입니다.

유클리드 호제법과 엔트로피가 이용될 것입니다. 유클리드 호제법으로 리듬을 어떻게 균형있게 만들 수 있는지를, 엔트로피로 리듬을 어떻게 불균형하게 만들 수 있는지를 보일 것입니다.

Abstract

"A good rhythm can make even Euclid dance."

There are three fundamental elements of music: melody, harmony, and rhythm. In the first semester, we explored harmony with the guitar. This time, we will explore rhythm with the djembe.

The Euclidean algorithm and entropy will be used in this seminar. We will show how the Euclidean algorithm can be used to create balanced rhythms, and how entropy can be used to create unbalanced or irregular rhythms.
