매듭(knot)이 뭘까요? 우리 현실에 있는 신발 끈, DNA 등 여러 가지가 knot으로 표현될 수 있습니다.

이번 세미나에서는 knot의 정말 러프한 정의와 knot diagram을 조작하는 reidemeister move를 소개하고 그에 따라 변하지 않는 불변량(invariant)을 소개할 예정입니다.

"Can You Tie Your Shoelaces?"

What is a knot? Many objects in the real world, such as shoelaces and DNA, can be represented as knots.

In this seminar, we will introduce a very rough definition of a knot and the Reidemeister moves used to manipulate knot diagrams, and then look at invariants that remain unchanged under these moves.
